About Kisha Lee

I am the parent of two amazing children, one who is an alum in his freshman year at Southern Illinois University Carbondale, and the other currently attending Ladue Horton Watkins High School as a sophomore. I have over 20 years of professional experience that has been dedicated to serving the needs of children and families. That is evident through my involvement in public education, mental health, public health and various other volunteer roles. I am known for my tenacity and forward-thinking ability to strategically direct various initiatives and achieve positive outcomes, and have been counted on to get things done.

My educational experience has focused primarily on public policy and administration, which includes an emphasis on public education, social work and non-profit management and leadership. I have worked in public education and have an increased awareness of the intricacies of public school systems.

I currently serve on the Curriculum and Instruction Board Advisory Committee, C.U.R.E. Committee, Parent District Council and the Parent Advisory Council for Special Education, all within the Ladue School District. I also serve on the Special School District Parent Advisory Council and was a member of the 2016 Fred Saigh Parent Leadership Institute. Additionally, I serve on the leadership team of LadueCAREs, which is a parent-led group dedicated to empowering change agents for racial equity within our school community.

I want to serve the students and families of the Ladue School District to ensure we continue to generate positive outcomes for all children. The Ladue Board of Education will provide that opportunity.
